The CS Series Symons Cone Crusher is an improved, optimized, and updated replacement for the PY Series Spring Cone Crusher. It is suitable for crushing various ores and rocks with medium-to-high hardness. Compared with the PY Series Spring Cone Crusher, it features a reliable structure, high production efficiency, convenient adjustment, and economical use. It is widely applied in metallurgy, construction, hydropower, transportation, chemical, and building materials industries, and is suitable for crushing all kinds of hard and medium-hard ores and rocks. It is the ideal equipment for large-scale stone plants and mining crushing operations.
Application Fields:
Metallurgy, construction, hydropower, transportation, chemical, and building materials industries.
Applicable Materials:
Limestone, granite, marble, basalt, iron ore, river pebbles, shale, bluestone, coal, cobble, construction waste.
Working Principle:
When the cone crusher is working, the rotation of the motor drives the eccentric sleeve, through the pulley or coupling, the crusher transmission shaft, and the cone part, to perform a gyratory motion around a fixed point. This causes the crushing wall of the crushing cone to periodically approach and move away from the surface of the bowl liner, which is fixed on the adjustment sleeve. This action continuously subjects the ore inside the crushing chamber to impact, squeezing, and bending, thereby achieving the crushing of the ore. The motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate via a bevel gear, causing the crushing cone to perform the gyratory motion. The crushing cone periodically approaches and leaves the fixed cone, completing the crushing and discharge processes. The supporting sleeve is pressed against the frame connection by springs. When uncrushable objects such as metal blocks fall into the crusher, the springs are compressed, and the foreign object is discharged, providing an overload protection to prevent machine damage. When uncrushable foreign objects pass through the crushing chamber or the machine is overloaded for some reason, the cone crusher’s spring release system is activated, the discharge opening is enlarged, and the foreign object is discharged from the cone crusher’s crushing chamber.
